What to Expect

This isn’t a regular plant nursery, our plants come with an experience you won’t find anywhere else – especially here in Collinsville.

I grow houseplants from seed to seedling so you can have a plant from the moment it sprouts – it’s just like getting a puppy instead of an older dog.

Now – what to expect when you reserve a seedling. If you’re more interested in the seedlings or starter plants, scroll all the way down.

On the “Reserve for free” page, you’ll see different plants to choose from. Add one (or more) to your cart and go through checkout. When it’s time to pay, you’ll see a “Reserve for free” option—no card info needed, no strings attached. If you prefer, you can pay upfront, and I’ll refund you if you change your mind.

Once you place your order, I’ll reach out that day via your preferred contact method to go over details and answer any questions. While your seed is germinating, I typically check in weekly, but you can request more or fewer updates. The day it sprouts, I’ll send a picture, and all future updates will be photo updates so you can watch your plant grow.

Once your plant has its first pair of adult leaves, I’ll repot it into its “going home” pot—that’s when payment is due. I’ll monitor it for three days to ensure it adjusts well, then it’ll be ready for pickup! You’ll also receive a full care guide covering everything you need to know, including potential issues and how to fix them, so you’ll be completely prepared to care for your new plant.

Seedlings & Starter Plants

As you can see, we also have a page named “Seedlings” and another named “Starter Plants”. These are pretty simple.

The “Seedlings” page is where all the seedlings without homes get listed, but they are ready to go whenever. The “Starter Plants” page will have plants that are already established, in case you are wanting a plan a little older.

For both seedlings and starter plants: Once you place your order, we will reach out with pictures and send you the address to the shop to pickup (see here as to why the address isn’t listed) or if you prefer, we can schedule a meetup. We do offer delivery here as well.
