This whole shop and brand quite literally has my name in it, so I feel it's only fitting to introduce myself and say hi!
My name is obviously Cobe, I am 24 years old and - believe it or not - I have never owned live plants or any plants at all throughout my time. I was honestly just never interested in them, until one day I went to Home Depot with my (amazing) boyfriend and came across a small parlor palm and I fell in love.
I put it in my office when I got home and ordered a plant self and some grow lights since I always have my windows in here blacked out (I like twinkle lights more than the sun 😁).
I knew I wanted more plants, but every time we went to the store they were all already grown up. I wanted to get a baby so I can experience it grow up. Hence, what this shop is all about.

Since I wanted to be able to experience my plants grow up from babies, I decided to go online and ordered some seed packets. I had ZERO clue what I was getting myself into at the time. I didn't know what germination meant, or the fact that there's humidity and temperature requirements.
I had to learn real fast that growing houseplants is nothing like growing grass or mint. Regardless, I was determined. So I did my research, bought everything I needed, and planted all the seeds I got.
Then, they started sprouting. That's when I realized, "I only need one, what am I going to do with 20 of the same plant?". So, I reached out to my cousin who has always been a plant person, and I asked her if she thought people would be interested in buying seedlings. She responded saying "probably", so I got to work.
I made a listing on Facebook Marketplace, letting people know that the plants aren't ready yet so they wouldn't have to pay until they are. I had a plethora of people reach out that were interested.

So, I kept touch. I would send them weekly picture updates of their plant growing into a seedling. I brought everyone along with me on the journey of seeing nothing, turn into something. It's such a beautiful thing to witness - and I was so happy I had people to share this journey with.
Eventually, I made a Facebook page to make it easier for everyone to see all the new plants I was offering. Eventually, it all got so overwhelming, I spent months building a website. Now - here we are. It's been a long road, but having the opportunity to do this
